I am a 5th generation Oregonian and grew up in a small town near Portland along the Columbia River. As a child, I was surrounded by nature - from mountains and forests to open prairie, wetlands, creeks and rivers - which nurtured an early appreciation and love of the natural landscape, horticulture, architecture and art.
I received my Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree in 1999 from the University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts (a fully accredited 5 year professional program).
With over 20 years of professional landscape design experience, I have worked with and continue to freelance for several notable landscape architects in Portland, Oregon and the San Francisco Bay Area.
My emphasis is in custom residential garden design, natural symmetry and vernacular architecture. I focus on fine landscape detailing, beautiful plant combinations and a clever, creative, highly functional approach to organization of exterior space. I aim to provide a beautiful, pleasing and intimate landscape experience for all of my clients.
